REPUBLIC ACT No. 9455; May 15, 2007

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF ODIONGAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN BARANGAY SAN JOSE, CITY OF TANJAY, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL TO EGMIDIO V. MANZO MEMORIAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

SECTION 1. Renaming of Elementary School. – The name of Odiongan Elementary School in Barangay San Jose, City of Tanjay, Province of Negros Oriental is hereby changed to Egmidio V. Manzo Memorial Elementary School.

SEC. 2. Effectivity. – This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on April 5, 2006 and February 19, 2007, respectively.
