CINDERELLA MARKETING CORPORATION, petitioner, vs. NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS COMMISSION, SECOND DIVISION, and JULIO DAET, et al. ( G.R. No. 112535 ) / and AIDA ARNAIZ, et al. (G.R. No. 113758), respondents.
FACTS
The Supreme Court issued a decision on June 22, 1998, which consolidated the petitions in G.R. No. 112535 and G.R. No. 113758. In that decision, the Court affirmed the award of specific money claims to fifteen (15) private respondents listed under G.R. No. 112535 . Subsequently, on July 10, 1998, the private respondents in G.R. No. 113758 filed a motion seeking clarification regarding their omission from the grant of money claims and benefits awarded in the said decision.
ISSUE
Whether the private respondents in G.R. No. 113758 were included in the grant of money claims affirmed by the Supreme Court in its June 22, 1998 decision.
RULING
The Supreme Court GRANTED the motion for clarification. Upon review of the records, the Court found that its June 22, 1998 decision was clear in covering the respondents in G.R. No. 112535 but was not clear regarding the respondents in G.R. No. 113758. Consequently, the Court MODIFIED its June 22, 1998 decision to include the twelve (12) private respondents in G.R. No. 113758 and specified the respective monetary awards due to each of them.
