REPUBLIC ACT No. 9463; May 15, 2007

AN ACT NAMING THE SAN NICOLAS-SOLSONA PORTION OF THE ILOCOS NORTE-APAYAO ROAD AS THE JOSEFA LLANES ESCODA NATIONAL HIGHWAY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. This Act shall be known as the “Josefa Llanes Escoda National Highway Act“.

Sec. 2. The San Nicolas – Solsona portion of the Ilocos Norte-Apayao Road starting from Km. Post 484+000 to Km. Post 524+000 in the Province of Ilocos Norte is hereby named as the Josefa Llanes Escoda National Highway.

Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on June 6, 2005 and February 19, 2007, respectively.
